For those new to water fed pole work its important to know your TDS which is short for Total Dissolved Solids. Which basically is the measure of your water quality. Knowing your TDS in your work area is important because a lot can factor into what type of system you need to buy. For example if you have a TDS ranging from anything up to 100 you can probably just get away with using a di tank but anything more you might have to look into a 3 or even 4 stage system. Here in Virginia its not to bad I've seen anywhere from 150-300 and with the ez pure I get under 8 everytime. They say anywhere up to 8-10 you can clean with pure water and not see any spotting.
