I did an estimate for washing the exterior of a large commercial building as a sub contractor and got the job. The price that I gave was perfect for washing, but then after washing all the windows I found that nearly every one of them had paint speckles all over. I could not see this during the estimate because they were high windows and they were completely covered in dirt.
I did not scrape them all because I did not factor that into the price and I knew that it would take me hours more. The guy I sub contracted with told me "Cool, if you could just scrape it over that would be great", saying like I could do it in 10 mins. Crazy? What should I do? I want to speak to the owner but I feel that's going a bit overboard ya know?
