Im down here in northern Florida so it doesnt get to bad and of late havent need to use my water fed pole. But I always wanted to know what you guys up north do during the cold months? Does the pure water lose its effectiveness around freezing temps?

Hi Scott, your lucky being based in Florida and have seen little of the really cold weather some of use have to go through.
In the UK we either use hot water heaters to heat the pure water or add alcohol based product to the pure water to stop it freezing.
Working differently to you USA guys we normally clean between 20-50 houses daily, so the pressure is always on to keep working.

Being in Colorado we see winter weather here at RHG. We have tested, developed, and sold hot water systems in the past for window cleaning and the hot water does an amazing job. If using cold water you must work with temps above freezing to avoid equipment freezing up on you.

In the UK market, residential window cleaning is like commercial route work in the US. They only clean the exteriors, usually they never run into an exterior window screen and they typically only have a few windows on each house.

Don't they have storm windows over there ?
I thought the UK had a lot of old houses, and it gets pretty cold in some areas..
