A couple weeks ago when we had a cold front throughout the east coast one of my techs cleaned a high window at one our regular commercial accounts and 20 mins later after he was long gone the window shattered. The manager had seen him clean the window and knew it wasn't his fault so all is good. Has anyone ever heard of this happening?

Nope. Was it an old style window, not a thermo pane ? Otherwise it seems odd that it would shatter from cold weather. I always use cold water, but was your guy using hot water on the inside maybe? Even if he was, it doesn't seem possible for the conflicting temps -- of the outside and the inside of the window -- to cause it to shatter so much later.

It was a old style window and he had cold water. One of those weird things I guess.
