I've been doing numerous jobs in the past weeks, barely getting any rest from time to time. Today, I had a job to do and half way through, I just couldn't do it anymore and had to get a bite to eat and rest for a few. Well..... that rest ended up taking a little longer than I planned, sleeping in the work van for about 3 hours when I was only trying to rest for about 30 mins. Luckily, the owners were gone for the weekend and it had to get finished by the following day.

But once I woke up, I felt "revived" and was able to chug along and finish the job quite fast actually before sunset. Lets here some stories of "napping on the job"! lol

Back in the day I had an account in Washington DC that required me to clean through the middle of the night and it was a small time frame like 11pm to 5am and I had like 18 stores to be cleaned. So this one night I was knocking out all my work and finished up around 4am but I did have another account that I could clean but they didn't open til 6am so I had a couple hours to kill. Anyway I found a school parking lot not too far away that was closed permanently but they still used it for parking so I parked there and took a nap. I slept for about 3 hours and as I'm waking up I realize there a ticket on my windshield and the cop was still in the parking lot so I actually went up to the cop and I was like sir I was in my car cut me a break or he could have least knocked on the window asking me to move. He pretty much told me I was out of luck and the ticket was already written.

This was my napping story but unfortunately it cost me

Absolutely not, that is going to give you a bad reputation if people notice it so don't risk it unless you're COMPLETELY sure that nothing will happen but if you own a pretty big business and do that you might as well skip work for the next month because it's a costly mistake

Yep, do it often. Managing oneself is a skill.

I don't think it's a very good idea. Maybe a quick 30 minute caffeine nap. If i'm that tired I just reschedule the job

Sounds like it might be time to hire?
