About 6 years ago I went back to school to be a mechanic. I'm not sure this schedule will work for me once my kids start school. My family is important and not being able to see them while living in the same house is frankly, unreasonable and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I've been re-thinking my career choice. I really enjoyed cleaning windows when I had the business going. I always find myself daydreaming of starting one again. Am I insane? I think there would be lots benefits to cleaning windows again... right? I wouldn't quit my job anytime soon though to do something like this full time but should I do part time? This schedule means that I have 3 days off per week. I need advice, and strangers seem like the best place to get real answers. Thanks

I need some more information on what your current situation is to properly evaluate the best path for you...
You can start by asking yourself the following questions:
Would I work for a window washing company or start a new business yourself? (If you work alone: How can I advertise myself to launch this business? If you work for a company: What company do I want to work in?)
How much money do I have saved up now? (How long can I live on that money without a job?)
Do I have a backup plan if the window washing fails? (Can I still return to my previous job?)
How good is my current work to salary ration, and so on... (Do I really want to do this?)
The decision ultimately falls in to your hands and I hope you chose the best path for yourself and I also hope that I helped you.

Well maybe you can start to re-discover some things and see that there are a lot more jobs that you love and that they are easy to get, I like my job of cleaning windows but it might not be the same for you. Try on some different jobs or get informed

Well I'd always think business so if the money and love is bigger at this job than the previous you're not crazy at all. Something you have to give up some things to pursue and get others, it's a just a part of life. It might be hard at the beginning but eventually you get used to it. It actually happened to me too, I saw more business in here since I live that kind of area so I decided to pursue window cleaning business
