I'd recommend that you go around and see if there are any window washing businesses around the city you love in. If you start any business it's better to be the only one that's doing it in the area for obvious reasons. I'd advise to to take a look if they are hiring and try to get to work for them before you decide to make your own business. After you build up a reputation for yourself it's much easier to start your own. If you are, on the other hand, determined to start your own business It's, again, best to roam around and find out what's lacking in your area.

Try some online advertising if you have the time for it that's what I'd suggest. I'm currently trying just that and for little time it has brought me quite a few customers

For me window cleaning was very successful and I love what I'm doing now and that I got to watch my business grow. It depends on your mindset which is how you'd give a decision

I don't exactly "love" what I'm doing but I don't mind it, at least for the current time, I might be doing something else in the future, maybe even pursue some of my hobbies more

Well a lot of people consider this a temporary position so that in the future they move on to some better things, I've been thinking a bit about that too but I might want to pursue this business more

That's how I started too but once I got into it and saw a good profit I didn't feel like stopping so it might be similar for you

I don't think I'm gonna stay at this too much though even if I am actually doing well so it doesn't apply to everywhere
